We are two labs working together on the study of the molecular and structural mechanisms implicated in function and regulation of several proteins and their relation to human disease:

-ion channels ENaC (epithelial sodium channel) and BK (Ca- and voltage-regulated potassium channel)

-Mineracorticoid receptor and other intracellular receptors.

We combine a large variety of molecular biology techniques, genetics, microscopy, fluorometry and electrophysiology.

Xenopus oocyte expressing ENaC channels fused to the yellow fluorescent protein, YFP
